i never notice how long it is between journals
hello fools.
urm, life update. right.
it has been one of the hardest few weeks of my life recently, and i'm not going to go into detail about the whys and wherefores with that here - only one person knows the full story and i'm keeping it that way! and none of what's going on is helped by me falling back into caffeine dependency, downing three or more times the recommended daily intake of energy drinks and such... which also means sleep is impossible most nights. good times all around.
i've deferred my photography and illustration degree for six months; i felt i was in a rut and had no motivation or inspiration and wound up skipping the la

i am zen. there are a lot of freakin' awesome things going on in my life right now, but there are also a fair amount of really really shit things going on.
as far as the awesome goes:
-i've finished uni for the year, yay.
-might be getting a new job.
-i'm making a zombie apocalypse movie :heart:
-i've got an amazing new boyfriend.
-i'm now 18 which means i can go to lots more gigs and stuff.
-i'm also in a band now called halftime spectacle! :)
i'd rather not talk about the shit things right here, though if you know me you're always welcome to ask what's going down!

hello everyone. it's been a while.
basically i am really down in the dumps at the moment and i'm trying to address it by throwing myself into my music, trying not to give up on that goal. i was dumped a couple of days ago and since then i have just been suffering more than i should be, forgetting to meditate, unable to write anything; i cannot find my words.
still doing the same old photography/illustration studies and whatnot. so i'll still have pretty pictures for those of you who are interested.
i wish i could write to get it all out; externalising what i am experiencing at the moment seems like the only way of making this time less pai

i am enjoying uni, pretty cool beans so far

yeah
been drawing and designing thingamajigs and whatsits for classes so i probably shouldnt upload them here
went to the kickstart markets on the weekend, bought 3 drawings (all by the enormously talented TheBoyofCheese (https://www.deviantart.com/theboyofcheese)) and 7 zines and a donut for $10.
i am planning my summer trip to melbourne, can't decide whether to stay in the city near flinders st station or halfway between the city centre and fitzroy's delightful looking brunswick street. if you live in melbourne/have spent time there tell me all about your favourite things - i most likely won't be going u
